DVD/CD Replication

Comtek, offers a truly comprehensive Replication package, which includes mastering, printing, packaging and distribution capabilities. Replication is the process of transferring Pre-Mastered data format to a glass master. The glass master is then made into a Stamper, which is ultimately used in production. The Stamper is placed into high-speed injection molder, which create complete digitized data CDs or DVDs.

DVD/CD Duplication

Comtek, Media offers DVD Duplication Services at competitive prices for small quantities. In-house equipment guarantees that deadlines are met even for short-notice mass production orders.

CD verses DVD: CDs can now hold up to 700MB while DVDs can hold up to 18 GB of information. Although most commonly used for movies, the versatility of DVD allows for long format data and business card recordings.

DVD Format choices include
DVD-5: 4.7 GB, Single Sided format
DVD-9: 8.5GB, Dual Layer
DVD-10: 9.4 GB, Double Sided

CD Business Cards

A powerful marketing and presentation tool, CD business cards offer a professional and stylish image for any business. Weighing approximately one ounce, CD business cards provide an economical addition to brochures, sales literature, catalogs and much more.

Standard - 40MB up to 85MB
Mini CD - 40MB up to 185MB
Custom Shape CD - MB varies upon design

All CD business cards are shipped bulk spindle or poly side-load sleeve. Customized sleeves are available upon request

Silk Screening

Silkscreen printing is the process of transferring ink through a fine mesh screen onto a CD or DVD. Most commonly used for artwork requiring vibrant colors such as animated art. Silkscreen printing utilizes a 100-line screen, which provides excellent quality for PMS colors and reasonable quality for four-color processing. A positive film type is used for this process

Offset Printing

Offset printing is the process of using an intermediate blank cylinder to transfer an image from the image carrier to the CD permitting more dramatic images on your CD and packaging materials. Utilizing a 175-line screen, Offset printing provides unsurpassed quality for four-color processing and is the preferred process for detailed CD label art. At a printing rate of 3,000 CDs per hour, Offset printing provides first-rate quality and speed. A negative film is required for this process
